The Variable Rate CD offers peace-of-mind in a rising rate environment, allowing the rate to adjust as the One Year Treasury Rate moves. This rate can change monthly based on this index. As interest rates grow, so does your CD. We offer the Variable Rate CD in a 35.

¹The interest rate is tied to the 1-Year Constant Maturity Treasury (CMT) Rate. The 1-Year CMT rate can change daily; however, Peoples Bank will only adjust the rate on the 1st Thursday of each month. Rate will not fall below 1.50% on the 35 Month Variable Rate CD; Rate will not go above 6.00%. Client will not receive a rate change notice as rate is adjusted. Not eligible for the “Connections” bonus. The interest is paid monthly and may be credited to any Peoples Bank deposit account or capitalized. Fees may reduce the earnings on the account. This product does not automatically renew and will stop earning interest on the maturity date. Early withdrawal penalty may be imposed if taken prior to maturity. Freedom Choice CD & IRA

Freedom Choice CD's offer the Freedom to choose the term that's right for you - at one exceptional rate. The minimum opening deposit is only $2,000. The Interest is paid monthly and may be credited to any Peoples Bank deposit account or capitalized. Fees may reduce the earnings on the account.
