Meet Ayia Cernica Peoples Bank’s new Branch Manager of the Washington D.C. offices!

Ayia has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and 10 years of experience in banking. She is licensed in life and health insurance in the state of Virginia, and is also a public notary for D.C.

She is affiliated with Junior Achievement, where she teaches financial literacy to students in preschool through high school. She most recently was a manager at PNC Bank, where she volunteered at the CentroNia and Latino EBRG Community.

In her free time, Ayia enjoys playing ice hockey, traveling, spending time with her family, watching sports, and supporting nonprofit organizations.
