How do I verify a cashiers check from Peoples Bank?
From counterfeit cashiers checks to sweepstakes and lottery winnings, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If you didn’t expect to receive a cashiers check, you can learn to recognize legitimate solicitations from those who aren’t. Find out more at The Federal Trade Commission Consumer Advise website.
Peoples Bank will never call, email or text you to ask for your personal info, account or debit card number, or online banking credentials. If you suspect someone is trying to gain access to your account or want to verify legitimacy of a check, contact us at 800.374.6123.
