In response to the flooding in Kentucky, Peoples Bank is launching a disaster relief initiative to aid those affected in the communities where we work and live.

$25,000 in Matching Funds

The Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky is accepting donations to the Appalachian Crisis Aid Fund to provide immediate relief to individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits impacted by disaster. The Peoples Bank Foundation will match your donations dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $25,000. Click here to donate.

Supply Drop-Off

Peoples Bank locations in Southeastern Kentucky are accepting disaster-relief supplies, such as non-perishable food, bottled water, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items.

Disaster Relief Loan Program

For those directly impacted by the flooding, Peoples Bank offers a disaster relief unsecured loan up to $5,000 for homeowners and $2,500 for renters. Call or visit your local Peoples Bank branch to inquire about this loan. This loan is subject to credit approval.

Volunteer Support

Our associates are stepping up with 8 hours of paid volunteer time to assist in recover efforts.

“We believe in supporting the communities where we work and live – not just in good times, but in times of hardship,” said Tyler Wilcox, Peoples Bank CEO and President. “It is our responsibility to support our friends and neighbors in Kentucky and know that every person’s contribution will make a positive impact.”

Match our donation up to $25,000 to support flood relief efforts in Kentucky.
